Arthritis Research UK Senior research fellowship

Arthritis Research UK invites applications for its senior research fellowship. This supports medical or science graduates committed to a research career in any discipline relevant to arthritis and related musculoskeletal diseases.

Postdoctoral basic scientists, clinicians, nurses or allied health professionals may apply. Candidates should normally have six to 12 years of postdoctoral research experience and a proven ability to establish an independent research programme, demonstrated by publications in international journals and the award of peer-reviewed grants. They should be based in a multidisciplinary environment in a UK university department or research institute. International candidates intending to move to a UK institution may also apply. Applications should be made by the candidate and include a statement from the head of the hosting department, agreeing to provide appropriate facilities and outlining.

The fellowship is awarded for five years and covers salary, technician costs, running costs and essential equipment.
