Breaking Boundaries: thinking differently about public involvement in research
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is a world-leader in promoting and advancing active public involvement resulting in high quality health and social care research. The NIHR is now looking for ideas, views and evidence about public involvement in research. They will use this information to set clear goals for the future of public involvement and active collaboration in research.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust aims to ensure that research and innovation are rooted in our routine clinical practice and our research findings lead to continued improvements in the quality of the care and treatments available for all our patients. Patient and public involvement is key to this and they want to put together a joint response to the NIHRs request.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust would like to hear from anyone who wants to give us their views on public involvement in research.
Please fill in this survey monkey; it should only take around twenty minutes to complete: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PFBWBQW
Alternatively, you can submit your views and ideas by email to: victoria.develin@nuh.nhs.uk
