On the back of the success of our first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) last year, we are excited to announce that the next MOOC will be starting on 6 June 2016.
Our 'Improving Healthcare Through Clinical Research' MOOC is a four week, free, online course for everyone; from patients, the public, carers and healthcare professionals. The course will allow you to learn in the comfort of your own home or during your lunch break at work, and through the online community, videos and other engaging materials, you can find out how medical treatments are discovered, tested and evaluated, to improve healthcare for all.
Our first MOOC in November 2015 was hugely successful, with over 8,000 people registering to learn more about clinical research discovery. You can help to promote MOOC to your colleagues and to patients and the public so that they too can be more informed about clinical research, and why we do it.
We will shortly be making all MOOC promotional materials available online for you to order to promote at events and presentations you are giving...watch this space!
You can sign up to register for the June MOOC now, by going to https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/clinical-research/1%20
A further update regarding MOOC and materials available will be coming soon.
